Welcome to the USS Equinox!

“Have you ever heard the sound from the shadows of the stars knowing home was a lifetime away?"

After one of the deadliest engagements that the Federation ever faced, “The Battle of the Round Table”, a Task Force once tasked with exploration now lays in ruin struggling to survive, disconnected and alone. Every crew, every leader, burdened with a heavy heart and a broken spirit from the void the Borg left and the uncertainty of ever returning home.

The USS Equinox is a starship namesake in the exploration of the Delta Quadrant. Many of her first crew realized that,

"the night of time far surpasseth the day,”
―Sir Thomas Browne, 1658.

Little has changed since her first voyage to Delta Quadrant; it remains to be one of the last final frontiers where the dangers are endless and where the soul is torn between survival and mortality.

Now assumed by a new hull the Equinox returns to the darkness, demanding redemption in a place where choices are never forgotten. The USS Equinox (a Sovereign Class) now holds a vibrant presence in Task Force 38, after losing many of her crew and successfully defending the Federation presence in the Delta Quadrant.

After many months in hold at Diogara Station, the ship has been patched together; but, this station is no Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards and the ship is as much held together by the faith and might of her crew. Now held by a new Captain, and home to a battered and unaccustomed crew she travels through the Epatha Gateway into the familiar yet unforgiving Gradin Corridor. Her mission to seek out new allies and heal old wounds.

The crew of the Equinox welcomes you! It is our aim to create an enjoyable and stimulating environment to write and be creative. If you would like become part of our next chapter, please submit an application and join in the adventure! The darkness awaits you…

To the Crew of the Equinox,

Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations all!
Just to recognize how awesome you each are, the Bravo Fleet Admiralty have given us TWO rewards in their Hall of Honor!

First, we have been awarded the Task Force Sim of the Month:
"USS Equinox - Where sims often pursue tactical or diplomatic missions, this one stands out based on its bend towards sociology and anthropology. It has written a rather interesting plotline this month."

Secondly, we have been awarded the Bravo Fleet Sim of the Month:
"USS Equinox - The Equinox has a rather interesting plotline running and with consideration of different mission types that sets this game out as a pioneer for recognition of these accomplishments. It is with great honor that we bestow the first fleet level SotM to the Equinox."

Way to go folks! You have earned it! Not just I recognize how awesome you each are!

See the official announcement here: https://forum.bravofleet.com/forum/announcements/award-announcements/27315-may-2017-sim-and-player-of-the-month-awards

Well done and keep up the awesome work,

To the Crew of the Equinox,

I want to personally thank each and everyone of you for taking this creative leap and joining the Equinox crew. You all collectively and individually make my role as GM worth it! You inspire me each time I login and experience firsthand your writing crafts. You all have helped elevate this writing platform - and have made it comparable to only a few. I thank you for sharing your creativity with me!

With the nature of this message, some of you have reached some impressive milestones:

Commander Caden Lister - An active crewmember for 10 Months+
Lieutenant Kyra Blythe - An active crewmember for 10 Months+
Crewman Recruit R'Vex Neral - An active crewmember for 10 Months+
Lieutenant Commander Elizabeth Cherenzhenko - An active crewmember for 10 Months+
Lieutenant Jeremy Tao - An active crewmember for 7 Months+
Lieutenant JG Simon Crewe - An active crewmember for 6 Months+

Some of you have called the Equinox home for almost a year; while others have jumped over the half year mark; both simply remarkable. Your dedication is admirable and I feel that you should all be rewarded.

Upon finishing our 3 month deep space assignment in The Gradin Belt (after our current mission) Bahrat IC will award each of your characters with a medal; a medal known as "Battle of Starbase 900" for your dedication to his crew and your heroic contribution to The Battle of The Round Table. There will be an IC celebration. View details of the award here: http://wiki.bravofleet.com/index.php?title=Battle_of_Starbase_900

I welcome the reminder of the crew to thank you all for your service and congratulation you each on your milestone and pending IC reward. As for those of you approaching your 1 year milestone I have something a little extra planned! Stay tuned!

Thanks again,
USS Equinox Commanding Officer,
Fleet Captain Adren Bahrat Noth

To the Crew of the Equinox,

HEADER: Creating a Fleet Account!

I would like to advise all my players to register for a BFMS/Fleet account, set up your character(s) and link them to the simm by setting their status to "Active" and their assignment to the USS Equinox. I'd be happy to help you if wanted to hop over to Discord and troubleshoot with me.

The BFMS (Bravo Fleet Management System) is Bravo Fleet's next generation player platform. From here, you can manage characters that appear on your Fleet dossier, nominate players for awards, edit details and so much more. Heck just look at our fancy fancy ship page on the BFMS. As you can see some crew have already signed up and are located in our ship's roster: http://www.bravofleet.com/game/305/

This is just a great way to showcase your character and share it with the Fleet community. As we say at Bravo Fleet, "The story of the ship you’re on, and your character, can reach far beyond just the simm itself. Bravo Fleet’s canon is a collection of the stories told through its simms, and as such, in addition to joining the simm, you should also create an account on the Fleet site where you can maintain your character(s).

Link to get your own account: http://www.bravofleet.com/wp-login.php?action=register

Once you do this and receive your password via email, you can log in and add your character(s) from your simms by going to the Characters interface and filling them out. When you do this, you’ll want to set your character to Active, assign it to the simm you’re on, and then publish a draft for review by the game master. Once the game master approves it, they’ll be able to add the character to the simm’s manifest and then your character, along with their details, will show up on the simm’s listing on the Fleet site.

Your Fleet account is your tool to add to the story of the Fleet as a whole. With it, regardless of if your character serves on one simm or several, they have an everlasting presence in the Fleet, and your profile will always show where it is you’re currently writing with them.

Best Wishes,
USS Equinox Commanding Officer,
Fleet Captain Adren Bahrat Noth

Hey Folks,

So, on behalf of Bahrat, I'm pleased to announce that the Equinox is moving over to Discord! The reason why you're hearing from me and not him is because I handle most of the Equinox's web/system stuff. Anyway, whether you have a Discord account or not, please sign up! https://discord.gg/8S7u3rN

Discord has applications for Windows, Mac, IOS, and Android (with Linux support coming soon!). To download the app, click here: https://discordapp.com/download. The link in the navigation already points to this invite. If you need any help connecting, shoot me a PM!

Enjoy!
